when i saw that harry potter 7 part 2 was getting something ridiculous like 97 percent on rotten tomatoes, i was pretty skeptical. don’t get me wrong — i’ve liked most of the hp movies and they’ve all been pretty decent. but 97 percent? that’s legend status.

i saw two movies over the weekend. the first was the new x-men movie, and the other was the justin bieber movie. i found one of these movies to be overhyped and overrated, while i found the other movie to be entertaining, fun, and even inspirational at times.

dog day afternoon
i recently did some dogsitting for someone and it was a good reminder that, while dogs are cute/fun/lovable, they’re also an assload of work. for this dog, an 8-month-old yellow lab mix named augie, he was particularly high maintenance.
